Placement Test for Physics Required at University

With this test you can find out whether you should work through a preparatory physics course before starting your studies or whether your knowledge of physics is generally sufficient. A cross-section of physics topics such as formulas and constants, mechanics, thermodynamics, optics and electricity is tested, especially from secondary school. The topics were chosen so that they provide a good basis for engineering courses.

You have 30 - 45 minutes to complete the test.

The test is "passed" if you achieve at least 75% of the points. Please also pay attention to your results in the individual subject areas. You should have achieved 75% of the points in EVERY subject area.

To begin with, we would like to know a few formulas and constants from you. Then we will move on to questions about mechanics, thermodynamics, optics and electricity.
